Let's be real: Dating is hard.
Not only is it hard, it's also become way too confusing. Back in the day (as in, four-to-five years ago), all you may have had to worry about was getting ghosted or left on read. Now, you've got to look out for paperclipping, orbiting and breadcrumbing. Oh, and did we mention relation-shopping?
It seems like the internet invents a new dating buzzword every day, which only makes things more complicated for people looking for love, especially if they're not chronically online. Though many may dismiss these dating terms as silly internet-isms, experts have said behaviors like the ones these terms encompass can have major implications for people's mental health.
